Travancore Balarama Varma Silver Half Rupee issued in Chitra Era 1114 (1939 AD). Minted during the reign of Maharaja Balarama Varma, this historic silver coin represents the rich heritage of the Princely State of Travancore.
The obverse features the iconic Travancore conch (Shankha) emblem enclosed within a decorative wreath and Malayalam legends. The reverse bears the inscriptions “BALARAMA VARMA – CHITRA 1114 – HALF RUPEE – TRAVANCORE” surrounded by a laurel wreath.
