The Bahamas 1 Dollar banknote, Series 2017, was issued by the Central Bank of The Bahamas as part of the CRISP Evolution Series. The obverse features Sir Lynden O. Pindling, the first Prime Minister of The Bahamas, along with a map of The Bahamas and the national Lignum Vitae flower. The reverse depicts a Drum Major leading the Royal Bahamas Police Force marching band, with the Coat of Arms of The Bahamas. The note incorporates modern security features including a windowed holographic security strip, see-through feature and colour-changing elements.
