The reverse depicts the Duke of Wellington greeting Prussian General Gebhard Leberecht von Blücher after the historic battle, with the inscription “THE BATTLE OF WATERLOO 1815.” The obverse features the fourth portrait of Queen Elizabeth II wearing the Girls of Great Britain and Ireland tiara, with the denomination and year around the portrait. This coin commemorates one of the most significant battles of the Napoleonic Wars.
