United Kingdom 5 Pounds 2005 commemorative coin issued to mark the 200th Anniversary of the Battle of Trafalgar. The obverse features the fourth crowned portrait of Queen Elizabeth II facing right, wearing the Girls of Great Britain and Ireland tiara, with the inscription “ELIZABETH II D G REG F D” and “FIVE POUNDS.” The reverse depicts the Royal Navy ships HMS Victory and HMS Temeraire in the midst of the Battle of Trafalgar, with the dates 1805 and 2005 and the inscription “TRAFALGAR.” The coin was produced by the Royal Mint and was a commemorative non-circulating issue.
