Mozambique 50 Meticais 1983-1986 Unc Note

The 50 Meticais banknote dated 16 June 1986 was issued by the Banco de Moçambique during the period of the People’s Republic of Mozambique. The obverse features military activities and training, including marching soldiers, artillery and rocket-launching equipment, together with the national coat of arms and a flag-hoisting ceremony. The reverse depicts a group of soldiers engaged in military training exercises. The note is denominated CINQUENTA METICAIS (Fifty Meticais) and bears the inscription REPÚBLICA POPULAR DE MOÇAMBIQUE.
