37th Commonwealth Parliamentary Conference 1991 UNC Set of 3 Coins

The 37th Commonwealth Parliamentary Conference 1991 UNC Set was issued by the Government of India to commemorate the 37th Commonwealth Parliamentary Conference held in New Delhi on 23 September 1991. The conference was held at the Central Hall of Parliament and was attended by delegates from Commonwealth countries.

This commemorative UNC set contains three coins of ₹10, ₹5 and ₹1, minted at the Bombay Mint (Mumbai Mint). The reverse of each coin features the Parliament House, New Delhi, with the year 1991 and the inscription Commonwealth Parliamentary Conference. The obverse features the Lion Capital of Ashoka and denomination.

The ₹10 coin weighs 25 grams and measures 39 mm, the ₹5 coin weighs 12.5 grams and measures 31 mm, while the ₹1 coin weighs 6 grams and measures 26 mm. All three coins are made of Copper Nickel (Cu-Ni).
