1940 One Rupee Banknote of British India Note C E Jones Signed

This is a genuine 1 Rupee banknote from 1940 issued by the Government of India under George VI.

The obverse displays the portrait of King George VI and the denomination “ONE RUPEE”. It is signed by C.E. Jones.

The note carries serial number E/33 618633. The reverse shows traditional ornamental design and multilingual inscriptions.

Condition is Very Fine (VF) with normal folds, slight wear, and minor marks due to circulation. A nice addition for collectors.
