Two Rupees Tiger Issue R N Malhotra A Inset Bundle

This is an original, stapled bundle of Two Rupees “Tiger Issue” notes released by the Reserve Bank of India and signed by Governor R. N. Malhotra. The reverse features the magnificent Bengal tiger, set against a jungle backdrop, with the left panel showing denomination “2” and the value in multiple Indian languages. The intricate floral border and Reserve Bank crest complete the classic wildlife-themed design.

The obverse displays the Ashoka Pillar Lion Capital at upper right, the denomination “2” in bold at center, the promise to pay text, and R. N. Malhotra’s signature at right. The visible serial number on this bundle is “20S 606801.” Staple marks and slight aging around watermark areas testify to original, untouched status.
