70 Baht of Thailand of 2016 Folder Presentation Unc Note

This is the 2016 Thailand 70 Baht commemorative banknote in original folder, issued for the 70th anniversary of King Bhumibol Adulyadej (Rama IX) accession to the throne (1946–2016), Pick 128, in uncirculated condition.

Obverse design

• Vertical gold‑toned note (about 89 × 162 mm) showing the elderly King Bhumibol in the uniform of the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, wearing the orders of the Royal House of Chakri and Chula Chom Klao, with the Royal Garuda emblem and denomination “70” in Thai and Arabic numerals.
• Background filled with intricate Thai patterns, latent numeral “70”, watermark of the King, security thread with micro‑text, and serial numbers printed in red.

Reverse design

• Young King Bhumibol depicted in full coronation regalia holding the Sword of Victory, standing before the Phuttan Kanchanasinghat Throne inside the Paisan Taksin Hall of the Grand Palace.
• Decorative guilloches, royal emblem of the 70th anniversary, multicolour latent images, and vertical 70‑baht denomination highlight the long and continuous reign being commemorated.

• Supplied in an official yellow‑gold presentation folder with printed Thai text describing the occasion, design elements, and technical details, sold by the Bank of Thailand as a numismatic product rather than for circulation.
