This uncirculated 5,000 Ecuadorian sucre banknote is part of the 1999 AÑ series. It is dated 12 July 1999 and signed by Luis I. Jácome Hidalgo, Ivan Ayala Reyes, and Jorge Egas Peña. It is a brown, orange, yellow, and blue note that measures 156 mm x 67 mm. Its obverse side features the coat of arms of Ecuador and a portrait of writer Juan Montalvo.
