10 Rupees P C Bhattacharya Diamond Issue Note

This is an old Indian 10 Rupees note from the Reserve Bank of India, commonly called the “Boat” or “Dhow” note. The front shows the value (10 rupees), the Ashoka pillar emblem, the serial number, and the promise text from the RBI Governor. The back has a picture of a big sailing boat on the sea—the main feature of this design. Below the boat, the value is written in Hindi and English. This note was made in the 1960s-70s and is famous among collectors for its beautiful boat picture and vintage look.
