1 Rupee 1975 M G Kaul G Inset Bundle

This is an original, stapled bundle of Indian one rupee banknotes from 1975, issued under the Government of India and bearing the signature of M. G. Kaul (Secretary, Ministry of Finance). The obverse features the iconic Ashoka Pillar Lion Capital within a circular emblem at right, the denomination “1” in ornate design at center, and bilingual texts “Ek Rupaya” and “One Rupee.” Serial numbers are printed in black towards the bottom, and the left area shows a watermark panel for security.

The reverse side displays the denomination design with grains (wheat ears) representing agricultural prosperity, the year “1975,” and “Ek Rupaya” alongside “One Rupee.” The denomination’s value is printed in multiple Indian languages in the central panel.
